Eddie began his career at Bernardi Honda in September, 2009 as an appointment coordinator in the Business Development Center. There he developed the knowledge and skills necessary to work in Bernardi Honda’s busy service department as a Service Consultant. In this position, Eddie works independently with each customer to provide them – and their vehicles - with the best service possible. With the help of Bernardi management and his co-workers, Eddie hopes to reach his goal of becoming a Certified Honda Service Consultant in the near future.

Eddie graduated from Framingham State College in May of 2009. While there, he was a 4-year member of the Men’s soccer team and currently holds the position of Assistant Coach. When not working at Bernardi Honda, Eddie enjoys playing hockey, soccer, golf and watching all Boston sports teams.

I recently celebrated my 14th year at Bernardi Honda. I started in the shop, detailing cars for delivery, and was soon promoted to Lube Technician in the Express Oil Change Department. Here I learned not only to efficiently and correctly perform basic service work on vehicles, but I also learned a great deal about the entire relationship between the customer and the dealership, and that every contact, every step is equally important.

I was then promoted to full service Technician and for the next seven years I worked on every type of vehicle repair. I was fortunate to work with a number of highly experienced and highly skilled technicians who were more than pleased to help me develop my own skills.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet our customers whenever they had a question about a problem or a repair that I had performed on their vehicle, so when a position as a Service Advisor opened up in 2007, I jumped at the chance to deal with our clients one-on-one, every day. I am able to use my experience as a Technician to help our customers, and I have completed every Honda factory training program to be a Certified Honda Service Consultant.

Away from Bernardi Honda, I enjoy spending time with my children and playing softball, hockey and basketball.

I have been part of the Bernardi Auto Group family for 3 ½ years, starting as an Appointment Coordinator in our Service Business Development Center. In this position, I gained much knowledge about the workings of a Service Department, and the training I received provided the basis for my career in the automotive industry.

In 2008, I was promoted to Service Advisor. Since then, I have achieved the Silver Level of Honda Training Certification. With the exceptionally strong support of management and co-workers, I hope to achieve greater levels of knowledge and skill.

Prior to working at Bernardi I was a professional chef specializing in pastry arts, and I still make and decorate cakes for friends and special family occasions. I love animals, especially cats, and when I’m not at work I enjoy spending weekends in New Hampshire and Cape Cod.

The Managers at Bernardi Honda are top-notch, and they are committed to my professional and personal development. They work with me continually to help me improve my customer-relation and automotive skills.

Living in Boston, the daily commute to work in Natick can be a challenge, but well worth it. I get to work with an outstanding team of professionals and many, many customers who have become friends over the years.

I’m the “new kid” at Bernardi Honda, but I do come with experience. I started in the automotive business in 1979 and over the years I’ve worked with several car lines, both foreign and domestic. In 1988, I became associated with Honda and I have become a real Honda fan. Although I’ve held many positions at the dealerhships where I have worked, customer service brings me the greatest satisfaction. I’m both a Honda and an Acura Certified Service Professional with more than 240 service training modules completed.

I was born in Mexico and grew up in Sante Fe, New Mexico. I have been married for 27 years and my son, Lucas, is a college student. I enjoy listening to Smooth Jazz and love Indy Car Racing.

My Bernardi career was launched in 1998 at Bernardi Toyota in Framingham. In 2000, I transferred to the Natick store as a Service Advisor for Honda, Volkswagen and Audi. Then, in 2001 when the Audi operation moved to a separate facility further east on Route 9 in Natick, I worked at the new Bernardi Audi as Service Consultant, Assistant Service Manager and Dispatcher.

To support the growth and expansion of Bernardi Honda, I returned to that store in 2005. I am now a Platinum Level Service Advisor and 100% Certified Service Consultant for Honda. I love my job because there are no two days alike – every day is a different challenge, and each customer gives me a new perspective.

When I am not a Bernardi Honda, I play golf, softball and hockey and enjoy relaxing with family and friends.

My automotive career is truly life-long; I grew up working at family-owned service stations in Framingham and Southborough. I branched out at 19 years of age and broadened my experience at Hopkinton Exxon and Village Sunoco in Holliston.

I became a Service Consultant at Saturn of Natick in 1994, and in July of 1998, I joined the Bernardi family as a Honda Service Advisor. (Interestingly, the former Saturn of Natick property was acquired by Bernardi in 2007 and it, too, is now a part of the Bernardi family at the newly-expanded Bernardi Honda facility!) I have received extensive training through American Honda, taking over 100 dealership service modules. As a result, I am an ASE certified Service Advisor and have been recognized by Honda with the Platinum Level 2 award for my achievements in meeting customer expectations. I have also completed an Auto Damage Appraisers Certificate program at Northeastern University. This combination of training and experience has given me the tools to really hear what my customers are saying and the knowledge to solve their problems.

I am happily married with two children and still reside in the MetroWest area. My daughter is heading to college in the fall, and my son will turn 4 in September. I enjoy boating, fishing and vacationing, and I love football.

I’m one of the longest-term employees in the Bernardi organization – I began my career at Bernardi Honda 35 years ago! I started as a Lot Boy doing new car preparation. After a couple of years getting cars ready for delivery, I had developed the skills and knowledge to become a technician, a position I enjoyed for many years. Later, I worked as a Service Advisor for a while, and finally took over the job of Service Dispatcher where I work today. In this role, I schedule and assign all the work that comes into the shop daily. This requires familiarity with all the technicians and their particular talents, so I can match the right tech with each job. At the end of the day, I am proud of how much quality work we have accomplished to keep our customers’ cars in top operating condition.

In my free time, I like going to the gym, playing my guitar and driving my 1967 Pontiac GTO.

For the past two years I have worked as a full-time cashier and receptionist at Bernardi Honda. In this position, I process customer payments, answer the telephone and assist clients with other needs. My passion lies in customer relations – helping people with questions or problems. This includes arranging for our complimentary transportation service to the client’s home, workplace or to the Natick Collection, checking on the status of repairs, assisting customers’ access to our wireless internet service or explaining the service invoice in detail so the customer fully understands his or her bill. My goal is provide our customers with everything they need during their visit to Bernardi Honda, and I don’t know the answer myself, I’ll find it!

I love classic rock music and dancing. Spending time with my family and health and fitness are very important to me.

In August of 1992, I started my Bernardi career as a records filer, a position I worked in for 3 years. When the Service Secretary position opened up in 1995, I applied for the job and met with Rick Voss, Service Director, about this opportunity for career growth. We both felt it would be a good fit, and I have been on the Service team for 14 years.

In my current role, I handle all new and used car service requests and also help the Service Advisors with customers who are waiting for their vehicle to be serviced. From time to time, I provide assistance to the Rental Department, too.

I thoroughly enjoy working for Bernardi Honda. My bosses are great to work with and are very helpful. I most enjoy meeting and assisting customers with their needs and I am proud of my excellent relationship with so many of our clients.
