Adam Shapiro - ASE Master Technician!
On Wednesday, December 23rd a luncheon was held at Bernardi Honda for Service Team Foreman Adam Shapiro’s achievement as an ASE Certified Master and American Honda Master Technician. Bernardi Honda has a total of eight ASE Certified Master Technicians among its 30 Service Technicians, all of whom are committed to optimizing our clients’ Honda driving experience.
Adam began his career at Bernardi Honda in November 2004. While many Techs take up to 20 years to earn American Honda Master Technician status, it took Adam less than 5 years!
At the age of 28, Adam is the youngest Shop Forman in Bernardi Honda’s long history, demonstrating his prodigious skills and hard work. His outstanding customer service capabilities have his clients requesting him by name to gain his advice on issues with their Honda vehicles.

difficult of vehicle issues. He is also a member of the Bernardi Honda “Road Test Plus” team that identifies difficult or unusual service problems that could not be resolved by other repair facilities and Honda Service Departments. As the name suggests, a team member works directly with the customer, accompanying him or her on a road test to understand fully what the customer is experiencing, allowing us to get to the root of the problem quickly, effectively, and to fix it right the first time. Exclusively performed at Bernardi Honda, the “Road Test Plus” program is a one on one service during which our Technician can also explain proper maintenance, describe the operation of systems such as Navigation system, DVD, ABS brakes, etc. and answer any questions the customer may have regarding the vehicle.
On a personal note, Adam has been married to his wife Paula for seven years. They will celebrate their daughter Zofia’s first birthday January 2010. Not only is Adam an expert Honda technician, but he has extensive high-tech knowledge and is a “go to” guy for any PC or cell phone issues as well!
